MENTORING PEOPLE

You can summarize the ministry of Jesus in this way: He preached to the multitudes and discipled a few. In other words, our Lord taught crowds of people in public settings, but for maximum impact, he concentrated his efforts on mentoring 12 men and 11 of those guys came to be leaders in the early church.

Jesus told His followers to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). A disciple is a lifelong learner or a disciplined follower of the Lord. The people Jesus chose as his disciples were willing to lay down their lives for Him and spread the gospel message to others. Jesus demonstrated that mentoring others is the most effective way to impact the world. We can never improve on his method!

Bob and Linda Buchan have served in church leadership and have spoken to large crowds and led small groups throughout the years. But they also regularly meet with individuals to lead them to Christ and help them grow into mature believers. Bob and Linda have years of experience in mentoring college students and young adults but their ministry is not limited to any certain age group, They are effective mentors of individuals and couples.

EQUIPPING LEADERS

Bob and Linda are available to provide coaching for leaders of church and non-profit ministries. Gifted leaders are essential for organizational health. They are blessed with vision, which can be defined as a "picture of a preferable future." When leaders comprehend a vision, they must also learn to communicate the vision in a clear and compelling way. And they must wisely gather people together and build a team to accomplish their goals. Bob and Linda have extensive experience in leadership development. Check out the bio section below,

In later years, Bob served as the Marriage and Family pastor of a congregation with thousands of attenders, called Heritage Christian Church. FAQ

IS THERE A COST TO MEET WITH BOB AND LINDA?

When people give donations to Global Caregiving Ministries, it enables Bob and Linda to offer coaching services with little or no cost.

CAN APPOINTMENTS BE MADE WITH BOB AND LINDA SEPARATELY?

All you have to do is contact them by phone or email and they will be glad to discuss that possibility.

ARE BOB AND LINDA AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR THOSE WHO DON’T SHARE THEIR BELIEF IN GOD OR IN BIBLICAL TRUTH?

The Buchans are followers of Jesus and they treat all people with kindness, dignity, and love.. You don't have to believe in the Bible or in the Christian faith to receive coaching. In Matthew 19:3-6, Jesus defined marriage as a union between a man and woman and they embrace that view..

WHY DOES GCM EMPHASIZE COACHING SERVICES RATHER THAN COUNSELING?

Over the years, the Buchan’s have provided a lot of counseling from a pastoral perspective but have never become licensed as professional counselors. They prefer to emphasize the word “coaching” because they don’t want people to confuse them with counselors who are recognized by the state.
